Guest critique: Russell Contreras

With such a great issue, I contacted my friend and mentor Russell Contreras for the professional critique this week.

You might remember the name. He was part of our orientation and presented on how to tell breaking stories in a digital world. So he’s familiar with us and our abilities.

Contreras covers immigration and essentially anything breaking, for the Associated Press in New Mexico.

Overall, he commented on the 1A design and said that talent and training are beginning to show on the page. That’s a great thing!

Great comments and some interesting takes on things. His comments are on the bulletin board under the Friday sign. Check them out.
