This is a wonderful opportunity to do great work telling stories for public broadcasting. I hope you’ll apply, if qualified. See below for details.
KERA Public Broadcasting Internship Openings
The KERA News Department has openings for up to two student interns. Most of our news is produced for regularly scheduled public radio broadcasts. We also work across media to produce video and web content. Applicants should have journalism experience in the classroom and/or in a working news room. The successful applicant will be able to spend at least two days a week at KERA. Preference will be given to individuals familiar with audio and video recording as well as broadcast and web production.
The successful intern is a self-starter who willingly pitches in toassist with office tasks as well as with more exciting reporting assignments.
Students who have or attain the essential skills will be encouraged to produce stories that may be broadcast on KERA Public Radio.
